Lila peered through the camera lens, mesmerized by the sight before her. Kieran looked like he had stepped straight out of a storybook. with nothing more than a casual stance, he becthe perfect picture of elegance. Even passing tourists couldn't help but steal glances at him.

Lila overheard a group of young women whispering behind her.

"Oh my god, he's gorgeous!" "Is he a celebrity? What's his name? I need to find out and switch fandoms immediately!" "He looks familiar... I swear I've seen him somewhere. There's no way I could forget a face like that." Kieran had been in the news recently, but these young ladies clearly weren't the type to keep up with finance and business news. Even if they'd cacross his name, they probably wouldn't have paid much attention.

"Should we go ask for his number?" one of them whispered excitedly.

Lila turned around, smiling sweetly at them. "You can admire him from afar, but you can't ask for his number-because he's my husband." The girls froze for a second before stammering out hurried apologies and scrambling away. Kieran chuckled, the corners of his lips lifting in amusement. "I sure don't see that everyday." His tone was casual, but Lila's ears burned. Of course, she was possessive. Besides, it wasn't like she was lying- he was her man. Why should she just stand by and let random girls ask for his contact info? Lila shot him a glare before quickly lowering her head, pretending to focus on reviewing the photos she'd just taken. Kieran strolled over and asked, "May I have the honor of photographing you, Mrs. Morgan?" Lila blinked. "Wait-you know how to use a professional camera?" He cocked his brow. "A little." Back then, when he first learned that she was passionate about photography, he had secretly gone out of his way to learn it. But he had never gotten the chance to be her teacher. And he was never the subject of her lens, either.

Now, as she tugged him along for endless photo sessions, he couldn't help but feel a little sentimental. All those sleepless nights in the past had finally led to something worthwhile. He smiled and took the camera from her hands and motioned for her to stand where he had just been.

Lila had always been graceful, strong, and unwavering. With the vast expanse of rolling hills behind her, the scenery becnothing more than a backdrop to her presence.

After capturing the shots, Kieran walked over to Lila, his voice deep and smooth. "Mrs. Morgan, I still owe you a wedding. We've already missed the peach blossoms this year, but is there another season you'd like?" Lila looked up at him, her heart fluttering for a moment. After their grandparents passed away, she had put off any thoughts of a wedding telling herself she would wait until next year, maybe even longer She hadn't expected Kieran to hold onto it this seriously.

She didn't know what to say. Kieran lowered his gaze, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Matthew approaching, the rest of the group following behind him. "He really does resemble Bryce," he thought to himself.

Before Lila could answer, Amelia pulled her away for more photos.

As the sun dipped lower, the group decided not to wait for the sun to set. The mountain path would be harder to navigate in the dark, and the temperature was dropping. After taking plenty of photos, they started making their way back down.

As they descended, Teddy hesitated for a moment before taking off his jacket and draping it over Jamie's shoulder's. He had been wanting to talk to her all day, but every the tried to say something, Soren would effortlessly draw Jamie's attention away.

By the tshe finally turned back to him and asked what he had wanted to say, he had lost the will to speak. But now watching her rub her arms against the cold, he couldn't hold back anymore. "It's getting chilly. I wouldn't want you to catch a cold."

The jacket, which had fit him perfectly, looked oversized and bulky m on her small frame. Jamie Cowered ve her gaze, staring at the stone steps beneath her feet. After a moment, she shrugged the jacket off and held it out to him. "I'm fine. I'm not cold." Soren glanced between them and chuckled. "Jamie's never been a fan of wearing other people's clothes. she can wear mine instead." Teddy turned to look at him, brows drawing together. What did he mean by that?
