Chapter 702 After Hendrix finished speaking, Noelle suddenly fell silent.

The silence only made Hendrix feel more suffocated.

Just as he was about to say something, Noelle asked, "What are you thinking about?" Caught off guard by her question, Hendrix blurted out, "What?" Noelle looked at him calmly. "Is that how you really see me? How irrational do you think I am to do something like that?" Even though she looked calm, her voice carried a clear undercurrent of anger. Surprisingly, Hendrix felt relieved. "Do you know what Dylan said toearlier?" Noelle asked.

"What?" "He said you deliberately hid the news about Mr. Swift's illness from me," Noelle replied. "But I told him then and there that I trust you. Hendrix, is this how you repay the trust I've given you?" "No, that's not " Hendrix finally realized the gravity of the situation. He stepped forward, ready to explain.

But Noelle stopped him in his tracks. "Stay right there." Her tone was firm, leaving Hendrix no choice but to halt.

After giving him one last look, Noelle turned and walked away quickly.

Hendrix remained standing where he was, watching as she disappeared in what felt like mere moments. It was only then that he seemed to snap out of his daze and hurried after her.

But by the the reached the hospital entrance, Noelle had already driven off. He returned to Roselle Court, only to find that Noelle hadn't cback.

Panic immediately set in. When he asked the household staff, they confirmed that Noelle had never returned. Hendrix quickly called Noelle. But she hung up on him every time. Eventually, she turned off her phone altogether. The cold, automated voice on the other end of the line made Hendrix's expression gradually harden. Just moments ago, he had been thrilled when Noelle had firmly told him she wasn't that irrational. But now, that excitement had completely vanished, and in its place was a growing sense of unease.

Then, he realized something laughable-if Dylan's goal had been to drive a wedge between him and Noelle, he had succeeded. What Hendrix hadn't expected was that he himself played a part in making it happen.

When evening came, he received a call from Beatrice and learned that Noelle had picked up Rosie from school and gone to stay at Sienna Villa.

Hendrix immediately drove over. Although Beatrice had already assured him over the phone that Noelle was fine, the first thing he did upon entering was to look for her. Only when he saw her with his own eyes did he finally let out a sigh of relief.

But Noelle was in no mood to be friendly. The moment she saw him, she turned and headed upstairs.

Hendrix followed without hesitation.

However, Noelle quickly shut then door behind her, nearly hitting him in the face. He could have easily asked the

butler for a key, but it was only a passing thought. After all, Noelle had chosen to anger if he chere despite her anger if he forced the door open now, there was no telling where she might go next. So, Hendrix lowered his raised hand and turned around. That was when he noticed Rosie standing behind him, looking up at him with curiosity.

"Did you and Mommy have a fight?" she asked.

Hendrix hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Rosie suddenly grinned. She then turned and ran downstairs, shouting content on as she then downstairs.shouting novelenglish.net! went, "Grandma, I was right! They did have a fight!" mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofifl0&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
