Because of Noelle, Seline had never been particularly fond of Hendrix. Even though her position technically required her to maintain a good relationship with him, she still refused to do so. In fact, she couldn't even be bothered to put on a front.
But today, when Seline saw Hendrix, she seemed to be in an unusually good mood. She even took the initiative to wave at him.

As Hendrix was about to get into his car, Seline quickly caught up to him. "Mr. Freeman, I heard you've got a new girlfriend. She's an influencer with a massive following, right?" At her words, Hendrix paused and turned to look at her. His gaze seemed to be asking what this had to do with her, yet there was also a hint of anticipation in it.
As to what he was anticipating, Seline had no clue. She simply continued, "How are things going between you two?" "Ms. Swift, if you have something to say, just say it," Hendrix replied, glancing pointedly at his watch. His impatience was obvious.
Seline naturally noticed, but she wasn't bothered. She kept smiling as she said, "Well, I went shopping with Noelle today, and we happened to run into someone who looked familiar. Take a look. Isn't this your new girlfriend?" At the time, Seline hadn't been able to pull out her phone to take a photo in front of Noelle. But that hadn't been a problem for her. The sales associate at the boutique was always gone out of her way to someone she knew, and eset please her. So, getting a few photos naturally wasn't an issue for her.

Seline was momentarily stunned. After a brief pause, she replied, "Yeah." Hendrix said nothing more and simply tossed the phone back to her. He then turned and got into his car.
