I glanced at the tand saw that it was just after 9 pm. I had been so lost in thought that I wasn't paying attention to the time. I went to the door and pulled it open, saw Judy starting to walk away. Her head was down and her face was red like an apple. She was leaving, not wantingto know that she tried to knock. It was soft enough that she probably thought I didn't hear it, but I had Lycan hearing so it seemed louder to me.
Before she even noticed I opened the door, I grabbed her arm and pulled her into the room, slamming the door behind us. She gasped and fell intoas I wrapped my arms around her, holding her as tightly as I could without crushing her.
"Where did you think you were going?" I asked her.
