A coincidence. Hayden sneered, dismissing Josiah’s success as mere luck. Thus, he didn’t mind it that much.
In the second round, Hayden hit the bullseye, Confidently, he blew the smoke off the gun barrel, looking
incredibly smug.
Clearly, Hayden was quite pleased with his own marksmanship.
At that moment, following a resounding gunshot, Josiah had also successfully scored a bullseye. “Wow!” The
crowd was surprised, as though no one expected Josiah to be that accurate.
Hayden also wore an expression of disbelief. How could this be possible? Could it be that he’s cheating?
Irritated, Hayden gritted his teeth and raised his hand. He aimed straight at the target and pulled the trigger.
With that shot, he hit the bullseye again.
Everyone on the scene praised.
Right after that, Josiah expressionlessly pulled the trigger and landed his shot at the dead center

The uproar at the scene immediately
grew louder.
If Josiah’s first shot was a fluke, and his second due to luck, then what about his third?
Clearly, Josiah was skilled.
Hayden was in utter disbelief. What's going on here? Even if he’s incredibly lucky, there's no way he could hit the
bullseye twice in a row! Could he actually be adept at shooting? Impossible! | refuse to believe a good-for-
nothing like him is a better marksman than me! Maybe there’s an issue with my gunt.
When his train of thought ended there, Hayden immediately said, “Josiah, to ensure there's no cheating

Upon hearing that, Madelyn and Josiah sneered.
The guns were presented to the two men in front of everyone. There was no chance of cheating happening, but
since Hayden insisted on being difficult the duo decided to comply with that request to leave no doubts.
In response, Madelyn nodded, and Josiah obeyed. He promptly stepped forward and swapped guns with Hayden.
After obtaining the gun, Hayden grinned slyly. Without delay, he aimed at the target and fired. The bullet hit
dead center.
To Hayden's surprise, even after changing guns, Josiah still hit the bullseye!
Upon seeing the situation, Hayden demanded angrily, Again!”
In the fifth round, Hayden hit the bullseye, and so did Josiah.

Cthe seventh round. Hayden's shot landed on the Eighth ring while Josiah’s was on the ninth.
Everyone was speechless.
They didn’t expect Josiah’s marksmanship to be so precise that even Hayden was gradually losing!
Hayden's scowl grew more twisted as he roared in his mind like a madman. Impossible! This can’t be! Floro on
earth could Josiah be this proficient with a firearm? He's definitely cheating!
Enraged, he approached Josiah and provoked, “Josiah, ‘s too dark right now, and | can’t see clearly. It difficult to
tell who's more skilled. How about we compte blindfolded? Dare to accept my challenge?”
What? The crowd doubted their own cars for a moment.
Even with their eyes wide open, Josiah and Hayden couldn't always hit the target accurately. Yet, Hayden
proposed they did so blindfolded. That twist of events was very thrilling to the crowd.
Unexpectedly, Josiah lifted his chin pridefully. “Sure. I'm not afraid,”
He spoke arrogantly, as though he didn’t even view Hayden as a threat.
“Really?” Hayden replied scornfully and gritted his teeth. “In that case, let's give it a shot! Just don’t accuse me
of bullying you later.”
Following that, they closed their eyes and pulled the trigger
Two gunshots echoed in the air.
Josiah hit the bullseye while Hayden's shot landed two rings away on the eighth.
Once again, two gunshots reverberated in the night.
Josiah’s bullet struck right outside the bullseye, while Hayden's shot landed on the seventh ring.
Everyone was riled up and taken aback by the outcome
They didn’t expect Josiah, known to be a good-for-nothing, was that accurate.
Hayden had been holding back his fury for quite a while, but he couldn't anymore and roared, “Impossible! This
is utterly impossible! Josiah, you couldn't have cheated, could you?”
“Hayden, stop making a fool of yourself,” Madelyn immediately retorted. “We're surrounded by people. Where
would Josiah even get the chance to cheat? You're just making excuses for your subpar skill!”
“Hayden, you're a major now, aren't you? You should understand that you win sand lose some. What's the
matter? You can’t accept your defeat?” At that point Xander spoke up...
“The crowd is not blind, Hayden. If you insist on accusing Josiah of cheating, aren't you essentially saying that
everyone's eyes are faulty?” Mason also stepped forward.
Immediately, both parties found themselves in a stande, tensions rising-
Gradually, even the crowd began to lean toward Josiah, thinking that he might actually be quite capable.
Madelyn was nleased with the situation and couldn’t hen but prin as she said. “Hayden Insiah has already

proven himself through his abilities. Do you still consider him worthless now?”
Without a doubt, that statement was a slap in the face for Hayden.
Hayden was left speechless, grimacing.

Madelyn beamed, but she felt that was not thrilling enough. Therefore, she stood up and said, “If you all don’t
mind. I'd like to give this gun a try.”
After she finished speaking, she picked up an air gun, raised her hand without delay, aimed at the target, and
pulled the trigger.
As she fired each round, she muttered, “First ring, second ring, third ring...”
The crowd was terrified because every tMadelyn stated the ring number, a bullet hole appeared on the
corresponding ring of the target.
When the count reached ten, her shot landed on the bullseye. As if measured with precision, the bullet holes
were nearly aligned in their respective rings, forming a straight, precise line from the outermost ring to the
bullseye.
The crowd gasped, wondering what kind of monster Madelyn was to land ten accurate shots consecutively.
Hayden paled.
Madelyn, however, merely responded with a casual smile. “Forgiveif | had embarrassed myself. | merely
wanted everyone to know my marksmanship is thanks to the lessons provided by Josiah, the one everyone called
a good-for-nothing. Frankly, | was really upset when | heard everyone labeling my friend as a good-for-nothing.
Sure, he had no professional training, but his natural talent and abilities outshine everyone present here! |
believe that’s now obvious to all present. Hence, | sincerely hope everyone can hold their tongues and stop
calling my friend a good-for-nothing. Thank you, everyone.”
After finishing her words, Madelyn bowed deeply.
