“What the hell do you think you're doing?” Calen asked as he looked at Izzy and Liam, who had been acting like

a real couple while lining up for the ride.

“What do you mean, What am | doing?” Pamella snorted. “Isnt this your idea? Do you really think | can ride that

thing in my heels?”

“Why the hell would you chere wearing heels?”

“You didn’t tellwe were going to a thpark! You never tellanything!” If she had known they were

coming here, she would have worn something comfortable. “I thought it was a fucking date!” Pamella hissed.

“Why the hell would | want to date you?”

“I'm your fucking girlfriend, remember?” Pamella resisted the urge to roll her eyes. As much as she hated to

admit it, her feet were already starting to hurt. It hadn't even been an hour, and her feet were already killing her.

“I need to find somewhere to sit.” This damn place is definitely not for her.

“Wait-hold on-" Calen followed behind her.

Calen caught up to Pamella as she stomped toward a bench shaded by a nearby tree. She dropped onto the

bench with a huff, yanking off one of her boots and massaging her aching foot. Calen stood over her, his arms

crossed, his expression anything but sympathetic.

“Stop acting like a damn damsel. It doesn’t suit you,” he muttered, gesturing toward her tic display.

Pamella glared up at him, but the sharp retort on her tongue never made it out. She was too busy cursing

inwardly. Her feet throbbed, her stomach growled, and the sight of the overpriced snack carts nearby only added

to her frustration. “Stop talking,” she snapped, yanking her boot back on.

Calen shook his head and sat down beside her, his posture stiff. Don’t forget, this was your idea. You wanted us

to act like a couple. You offered to be my girlfriend.”

Pamella’s head whipped toward him, her eyes narrowing. “My idea? Really? You're the one who thought it'd be

fun to ask Izzy to sit on the train while | was left standing there like an idiot. What kind of ‘boyfriend’ does that?”

Calen clenched his jaw but didn’t say anything for a moment. He exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck.

“Look,” he said finally, his voice lower. “Just cooperate, alright? When we meet our parents, I'll act like the

perfect boyfriend. You won't have anything to worry about.”

Pamella rolled her eyes but didn’t argue. She leaned back on the bench, crossing her arms tightly over her chest.

Her gaze drifted to the ride, where Izzy and Liam were clearly having the tof their lives.

The Flash swung high into the air, and Pamella’s eyes locked on Izzy, her hair whipping in the wind as she threw

her arms up with an uncharacteristic grin. Liam sat beside her, his hand gripping the safety bar as he leaned

toward Izzy, laughing.

The sight only fueled Pamella’s irritation. The way they looked together-relaxed, happy like they were genuinely

enjoying each other's company-made her stomach churn. She hated how natural it seemed.

She hated how Izzy didn’t even seem to notice her watching.

Pamella’s fingers curled into fists on her lap. Every laugh, every smile, every carefree movement Izzy made on

that ride felt like a taunt. She turned away, her jaw tight as her nails bit into her palm.

They're disgusting,” Pamella muttered under her breath, but Calen didn’t respond. He seemed lost in his own

thoughts, his attention focused on nothing in particular.

When the ride finally slowed to a stop, Pamella glanced back, watching as Izzy and Liam climbed out of their

seats. Izzy was laughing, her face lit up in a way Pamella hadn't seen before. Liam said something to her, and

Izzy playfully swatted his arm, her smile lingering as they walked away together.

Pamella stood abruptly, brushing off her skirt. “Let's go,” she said sharply.

Calen sighed, standing as well. “Where now?”

“How the hell do | know? This is your idea, remember?”

Pamella marched ahead, with Calen trailing behind her, his hands shoved into his pockets. Her steps were quick,

her irritation radiating with every movement. She zeroed in on Izzy and Liam, who were standing near the exit of

The Flash, talking animatedly.

Izzy's face was flushed, her hair slightly disheveled from the ride. She gestured with her hands as she spoke to

Liam, who was watching her with a faint smile. The way she lit up, the way she leaned slightly toward him-it all

grated on Calen’s

nerves.

“Enjoying yourselves?” Pamella asked as she cto a stop in front of them.

Izzy quickly turned toward her and brushed her hair back. “You should try it,” she said, her breath still a little

uneven from the adrenaline rush. She pointed back at the ride. “It’s incredible. I'm pretty sure you'd love it.”

Pamella’s nose wrinkled slightly as she glanced at The Flash, which was swinging its next set of riders high into

the air. “I don’t think so,” she said, crossing her arms. “It looks a little... extreme. Maybe we should try

something else. Something more relaxed.”

Izzy raised an eyebrow, glancing at Liam, who gave her a quick shrug as if to say, “Your call.” Izzy turned back to

Pamella. “Relaxed? What's the point of coming to the thrill rides if you're not going to actually try them?”

Pamella opened her mouth to respond, but Calen cut in, stepping forward. “Not everyone enjoys being thrown

around like a rag doll, Izzy,” he said, his tone sharp. His gaze lingered on her flushed face, and something about

how carefree she looked made his stomach twist uncomfortably. “Maybe we'll pick something with a little less...

chaos.”

Izzy gave him a tight smile, not missing the way his eyes flicked to Liam, who stood quietly beside her. “Suit

yourselves,” she said, stepping closer to Liam. “There’s plenty to do here. Just don’t spend all day deciding.”

Then she pointed at another ride next to The Flash. “Let's try that.”

“Hey... that is too high. I-” But before Pamella could finish, Izzy had already dragged Liam toward the next ride.

“Hey-you should stop them,” Pamella said.

Calen’s face, already sour, turned even uglier. “How the hell do | do that?”

“Well, think of a way! It was you who insisted we chere and follow them!” Pamella’s mood worsened.

“Well... why don’t we just ride that one?” Calen asked. “It doesn’t look-"

“Are you out of your mind?” Pamella asked. “Why the hell would I ride something that dangerous?”

Calen gritted his teeth. He had originally chere to create an opportunity to be close to Izzy while pretending

to be Pamella’s boyfriend to make Izzy jealous. In the end, he couldn't even leave Pamella’s side while Izzy and

Liam ran around enjoying the park.

After the ride, Pamella once again tried to suggest choosing an attraction that wasn’t as extreme, but Izzy didn’t

even listen. She ran to the next ride with Liam. In the end, Pamella and Calen just followed them around like

sdamn chaperones.
