Chapter 77
On Stephanie's side.
Just as she was nearing the Whispering Bay, Olivia's call cin. On the phone, Olivia's tone was noticeably
weaker than
before.
But her words still carried a sense of pride.
“You probably haven't heard, right? Chris is trying to buy the Whispering Bay in Shallow Bay Area to help me
recover.”
Every word was dripping with Olivia's smugness.
Whispering Bay...
Over the years, many prominent families had wanted that place in Shallow Bay Area.
It is said that the place not only has beautiful scenery and air, but also excellent location.
Location mattered deeply among dynasties.
Stephanie: “I already know.”
“Oh? What has Chris bought for you in the past?”
Stephanie: “..."
What had Chris bought for her?
Jewelry and other things-
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe couldn’t even remember what they looked like.
She had so many things from a young age that she never really cared about them.
But Olivia was here bragging about it.
Stephanie chuckled mockingly: “Olivia, you're a dying person, and instead of focusing on your health, you're
here showing off?”
“You...”
Her direct sarcasm stunned Olivia on the other end of the phone.
Stephanie continued, “Chris wants to buy you the Whispering Bay for your recovery? From what | know, the
owner is not going to sell it.”
“He will find a way to get it.”
Olivia replied stubbornly.
Chris had said that once he managed to get the Whispering Bay, he would immediately take her out of the
hospital.
She believed Chris could do it.
Stephanie: “If | were you, I'd wait until he actually buys it. You're showing off now, but who knows if you'll ever
get in bef you die.”

Chapter 77
“You should buy a grave instead. Ash has no use for ocean views,”
Olivia's breath caught in her throat, “You... you're cursing me!”
The words “grave” and “ashes” completely threw Olivia off balance,
Kight now, all she needed was the belief that she could live on.
To live and keep everything that was hers, not allowing Stephanie to get any of it-that was her belief.
Stephanie's curse was something Olivia could not tolerate hearing at all.
She had everything in the Hart family and enjoyed such a life; how could she bear to die?
Not only couldn’t she let go, she was terrified of the thought of dying.

Stephanie: “What's wrong with cursing you? You should be grateful you're diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Otherwise, how would you have peace like you do now?”
If it weren't for Olivia's terminal illness, Stephanie would've already turned over the truth of the car accident
from back. then.
Right now, Olivia had nowhere to turn.
If she didn’t recover, she'd end up cremated to ashes.
If she did recover, the accounts she owed Stephanie would still be waiting for her.
Living in the hospital, tortured by illness... If she recovered and was discharged, she would face legal
consequences.
“Stephanie, you're just too vicious.”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSuddenly, Catlin’s furious voice cthrough the phone.
Stephanie narrowed her eyes.
“Yeah, I'm vicious. So what?”
She was vicious, so what?
Catlin was furious: “Tell me, who exactly is the man who called and threatened your father?”
“Earlier, when you were in your office, who did you call? Stephanie, do you know what it means for a girl to have
self- respect? If you want money, do you think the Hart family is lacking in that department?”
Her words made it sound like if Stephanie just asked, Catlin would've given it to her unconditionally.
As if that was the past.
Stephanie: “The Hart family’s money has nothing to do with me.”
“Stephanie!”
